Gphone is an IP to IP based Internet phone that is extremely simple to use. All you need to know is the other person t IP address and you can connect to them and start talking over the Internet for free, no phone or long distance charges. The programs has a nice, compact interface that supports skins and offers quick access to all functions. You can also use Gphone to text-chat with the other person (in case you don t have a microphone or slow connection) as well as tranfer files between you. Gphone supports dynamic DNS services, custom ring tones, logging and more. It even includes an answering machine option. Gphone uses advanced Voice IP Codec and is is able to stream voice almost instantaneously between users creating the closest thing to a real telephone conversation.
